Q.   How do you know if your manufactured home is out of level?
A.   The quickest way to tell if your manufactured home is out of level or is shifting is to check the exterior doors and windows to see if they have started to drag or not opening properly. If the front door is dragging yet the window close to it slides properly then, this would mean the door piers have loosened and possibly just need to be tightened or adjusted and the home level is fine.Windows are normally fairly sesitive to movement and will not slide properly if the homes level changes dramatically

How To Measure (doors and windows)

Q.   How do I measure for an out-swing mobile home door?
A.   First open your out-swing door, which will most likely be a back door. With your door open, measure the swinging door ( width and height ) not including the lip of the door. Then simply round up to the next inch. (Example: the out-swing door measures 33.5 inches wide by 75.5 inches high will equal a 34" x 76" call size.

Q.   How do I find out if my door is a right or left hand door?
A.   Look at the door from the outside of the home. The side with the hinges will determine right or left hand door. (Example: hinges on the right, the door is a right-hand door.)

Q.   How do I measure for a window?
A.   The best way to measure for a window is to take the window off the house or out of its opening. With the window exsposed measure the rough opening ( opening the window fits into).

Q.   How do I measure correctly for a house-type door or a storm door?
A.   Measure Out-swing storm door or In-swing core door, (measure just the swing door). Add two inches to the width and one inch to the height, then round up to the next inch. (Example: Out-swing storm door measures 31.5 inches wide by 74.5 inches tall, you need a 34" x 76" call size.)
